Jaesik Park received his Bachelor degree (Summa cum laude) in media communication engineering from
Hanyang University in 2009.
He received his Master degree and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology
(KAIST) in 2011 and 2015 respectively under the supervision of
Dr. Yu-Wing Tai
and Prof. In So Kweon.
Microsoft Research Asia Fellowship and
Samsung Humantech Thesis Award.
He worked as a full time internship in
Microsoft Research Asia and
Microsoft Research Redmond
under the supervision of Prof. Yasuyuki Matsushita
and Dr. Sudipta N. Sinha.
He joined Intel visual computing lab
directed by Dr. Vladlen Koltun in Dec. 2015.
His research interests include depth map refinement, rigid/non-rigid 3D reconstruction,
multiview photometric stereo, and image editing/enhancement.
He is a member of the IEEE.
2017.02. An algorithm about learning based automatic 3D view selection is accepted to Computer Graphics Forum.
2016.08. A paper about high-quality 3D reconstruction is accepted to TPAMI.
2016.07. A paper about global point-cloud registration is accepted to ECCV 2016.
2016.07. A paper about geometry refinement is accepted to IJCV.
